Galacto-oligosaccharide (GOS) as a trending prebiotic fiber
At IFT 2018 in Chicago, FrieslandCampina highlighted our concept of using Galacto-oligosaccharide (GOS) as a prebiotic fiber – upon the U.S. FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved the classification of “Dietary Fibers”. Sarah Staley, VP of Performance Nutrition at FrieslandCampina shared our take on that, and gave background on how companies can promote GOS in their products.
